UK Civil Wedding - full management
Brief:Both busy professionals, Louisa and John wanted to get married in style but had little time to organize things themselves. They both live in Cambridge but had fallen in love with Dorset and had dreams of marrying in there. They enlisted the help of CKE to organize all aspects of their big day from start to finish.
The event:
The wedding was to be held in January and it was important that the venue could provide a beautiful setting for both the ceremony and reception without guests having to go outside into the cold.
The venue chosen was Lulworth Castle in Dorset. The castle provided a unique blank canvas, which was transformed into a beautiful backdrop for the wedding day by the addition of hundreds of candles and gorgeous floral arrangements of white Bianca roses, paper white narcissi and forest foliage. After the ceremony the couple and their guests enjoyed a mulled wine reception followed by a delicious three-course meal using traditional local produce.
After dinner, guests moved out onto the steps of the castle to watch a fantastic firework display after which everyone partied on into the night to the sounds of a fabulous live band.
